Management Occupations came in second with a share of 14% in Q3 2023, with new job postings dropping by 59% over the previous quarter.
The other prominent remote patient monitoring roles include Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations with a 9% share in Q3 2023, Sales and Related Occupations with a 8% share of new job postings.
Top five companies in medical industry accounted for 84% of hiring activity
The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q3 2023 were Koninklijke Philips, Vyaire Medical, Medtronic, Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics, and GE HealthCare Technologies. Together they accounted for a combined share of 84% of all remote patient monitoring-related new jobs in the medical industry.
Koninklijke Philips posted 271 remote patient monitoring-related new jobs in Q3 2023, Vyaire Medical 126 jobs, Medtronic 100 jobs, Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics 66 jobs, and GE HealthCare Technologies 59 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
Hiring activity was driven by the US with a 60.79% share of total new job postings, Q3 2023
The largest share of remote patient monitoring-related new job postings in the medical industry in Q3 2023 was in the US with 60.79% followed by Germany (11.94%) and India (5.29%). The share represented by the US was 16 percentage points higher than the 45.29% share it accounted for in Q2 2023.
