Medline has expanded its respiratory care offerings with the introduction of the new Hudson RCI TurboMist small-volume nebuliser.
The new device is designed to deliver medication treatments rapidly, with the capability to complete the process in as little as three minutes.
The TurboMist nebuliser is engineered to dispense 2.5 times more medication per minute compared to standard nebulisers, slashing treatment times by nearly 70%.
This efficiency not only accelerates care delivery but also enhances cost-effectiveness, Medline said.
Furthermore, the nebuliser offers better medication deposition for quicker patient relief, improved patient compliance due to reduced treatment duration, and greater comfort and efficacy with a swivel mouthpiece that minimises mask usage.
It is suitable for patients aged five years and older in both hospital and homecare settings.

Over the years, we have developed robust solutions to meet every respiratory need, from hospital to home.
“We believe that our newest solution, TurboMist, will fulfil a need in the market to drive efficiencies with shorter medication delivery times and an enhanced patient experience.”
Earlier this year, Medline launched OptiView transparent dressing with HydroCore Technology to enable easy assessment of at-risk skin and monitoring skin breakdown.
The dressing’s design allows caregivers to inspect and monitor the skin quickly and easily without the need to remove the dressing.
