GE HealthCare, MedQuest collaborate to enhance outpatient imaging

GE HealthCare has announced a three-year collaboration with MedQuest Associates to provide new medical device technology and digital tools for outpatient imaging centres.

The partnership aims to optimise multi-site outpatient imaging networks and improve patient care by integrating GE HealthCare’s technologies with MedQuest’s infrastructure and resources.

MedQuest’s joint venture model with health systems, combined with GE HealthCare’s advanced technologies, is poised to introduce new imaging solutions, including Theranostics, into ambulatory settings.

This strategic move is expected to enhance operational efficiency and patient care quality in outpatient imaging.

GE HealthCare US & Canada Imaging president Jason Schneck said: “GE HealthCare is excited to provide advanced technologies and digital tools to enable clinicians to make faster, more informed decisions through intelligent data and smart devices to help improve patient outcomes.”

MedQuest’s outpatient imaging capabilities would be further enhanced through the adoption of GE HealthCare’s AI-enabled digital tools such as AIR Recon DL, AIR Touch Technology, Imaging Protocol Manager, Smart Subscription, and Imaging 360.
